Skill 3 - insane lying, acting, and covering tracks in general
Or, as it actually says on my registry: practiced acting, alibi-spinning, and maintaining multiple separate "characters" even under pressure.
Basically that's all you need to know. Sometimes Beatrice will have a conversation with you and it will be entirely bullshit. In fact, assume at least 75% of things she says are bullshit. It is nothing personal, it is just a thing. It is rarely even used to malevolent ends, believe it or not! She has already been doing this, but now she will not even blink in doing so. Unless you reject absolutely everything she says, you will probably be swallowing at least one or two lies with the truth.
This also has some bonus side effects for her mental state and what she is capable of doing though, so let's turn to the spoilery explanation corner!!
So... Beatrice does not precisely have multiple personality disorder. She is completely in control of herself at all times. Yet she decided that she is three people because she can't decide what kind of person she feels like being. She created her personalities on purpose, and she "kills" them off when she needs to. She's not actually doing it just to trick people, she is doing it because she has Issues, so I am not actually sure if there is a name for what she does other than EXTREME PRETEND. But the fact is that she decided on her own to live three lives simultaneously. She is DEDICATED and presumably has spent a lot of money. And when it comes to the extreme pretend olympics you'd better watch out, she is going for the gold!!!!
So this skill is vastly important for her, because it means that living as different people is actually a distant possibility! It will be difficult to pull off without a disguise skill--but it would be difficult anyway, what with the character cap making it hard to sneak people in there! (She would, of course, argue that furniture doesn't count as human enough to count towards the total :'D) ANYWAY what she will probably do is combine her last occult skill with this one, to make Faux Magic, and pretend that she got back SUMMONING FURNITURE as a skill instead. But for some reason because of the power cap they can't manifest physically and they have to use her body ohhhh noooooo. ...You don't have to believe her but the whole point of this skill is that she isn't going to drop the act. :B HATERS GONNA DISBELIEVE. Beatrice never tells anyone what the fuck is going on with her until someone summons her back from the dead to make her tell them :| You will have to correctly realize exactly what her deal is before she will consider relenting and being honest about it. NOTE THIS IS REALLY HARD TO FIGURE OUT IN CANON; in aather everyone has the advantage of knowing her BEFORE she got this skill back and can draw clues from that, AND SHE IS GOING TO DEAGE SOON SO LOL FREE HINTS ALL OVER, but still she hasn't told anyone enough about her memories for anyone to really understand her motivations I imagine.
Anyway, Shannon and Kanon are both distinct people with distinct lives, but Beatrice's memories of them are few and not really representative! If/when she does try this out, this is what you can expect from amnesiac-Shannon and amnesiac-Kanon, because they will be different from canon!
Shannon has the knowledge that she is a servant, and her memories are actually hilariously pro-Beatrice at this point (she is superstitious). She knows she is engaged to George, but she barely remembers any of their relationship. Also she knew Yasu when Yasu was a kid and tried to stand up for her against bullying... :B ALSO: uses "watashi," speaks humbly. Beatrice uses "warawa" and speaks with a mix of ostentation and vulgarity iirc, for comparison.
Kanon has a stronger concept of himself than Shannon with more significant memories... but he only has memories of being dere and barely any of being a sulky tsun emokid like he is 90% of the time. He pretty much only has memories of being "well, I am USUALLY a sulky emo kid, but I THINK NOW I WILL CHANGE!!!!1" So he will be way more mellow and less cynical than usual. Totally sappily in love with Jessica, has been dere for Jessica in like every second of his memories so far. Uses "boku" and also speaks humbly, but tends to curse and be more rough when with his peers. Distinguishable as masculine...
IT'S LIKE PERIDOT HAS TWO NEW MEMBERS FOR FREE!!?!1 How often she brings Shannon and Kanon out largely rests on how well Peridot receives the idea, but she has started to be pretty desperate for this opportunity so. HAVE... FUN. LET THE MYSTERY BEGIN!
